To experience Eating Anxiety is to feel nervous, uncertain, untrusting or scared in any situation that involves food. It may be the act of eating anything at all, eating particular foods or eating in different situations.
I specialise in helping people move away from any form of restrictive eating.
Whether the restriction is in quantity or in style. A pattern and habit of eating can emotionally feel as restrictive as not feeling brave to eat as much as your body may need or want.
Eating should not be painful.
Eating should be easy. It should feel safe. You, as a human should feel secure in what you eat and how you choose to.
If you have struggled or are struggling - you know that eating well can be excruciating.
I work in a way that is not clinical.
We do not talk about diets or calories.
We are aiming for freedom for your whole self.
Freedom to choose - to make room for mistakes and gain insight into yourself and your life.

Whether or not you have been given a diagnosis or feel you identify with one is irrelevant in this form of treatment.
The aim it to strengthen the person so that the disorder is no longer a needed way of managing eating or life.
